I am privileged to empower professionals, marrieds, singles to discover and live out their God ordained purposes. I am also privileged to help countries in Africa to network and support one another regarding the FamilyLife Ministry.
Elon Katweheyo (King Elon) loves God and His people passionately. I love making and keeping friends, I love music and traveling. I’m passionately about helping people relate better.
I was born and raised in a Christian home where my parents and siblings were believers in Christ. My family members were also actively involved in ministry at our local Church and we had family prayers every night. I heard the Gospel being shared several times but it was until 1998 at a Convention when the day’s preacher shared and then made an altar call. I then made a decision to follow Christ and I confessed Him as my Lord and Saviour.
My parents allowed me to attend several Christian gatherings. Just after completing my High School, I took part in my first mission, which was 40 days long. At the Commissioning night, God led me to sign a commitment for full-time Christian service.
I pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering at Kyambogo University and while there, I was discipled by LIFE Ministry Uganda staff and students. God spoke to me about my purpose in life i.e. to make disciples as a full-time vocational Missionary specifically with LIFE Ministry Uganda (Campus Crusade for Christ International) on various occasions; in Kyambogo, Dodoma and Lagos, etc. As soon as I completed the course in June 2013, I walked straight to the offices to join as a Staff. I now have the opportunity to travel and interact with people of various races and tribes and share the Gospel with them and disciple them. My passion is to do just that and also to minister hope to my generation.
