Born in a family of seven children, Mark is the six born. Having come from a family that wasn't very religious. Mark was known to be stubborn and one of the most undisciplined young men in his former high schools. Incredibly Mark accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior when he was joining Senior Six at the age of 18. He later joined Makerere University and studied a Bachelor&apso;s Degree in Statistics. He always desired to grow as a Christian and hence he joined St. Francis Chapel, Makerere where he later joined the choir and was exposed to his first taste of ministry.
After his university, he went to Ishaka, Bushenyi and worked at Ishaka Adventist Hospital as the Medical Records Officer. Mark did not have a church at the time but his colleague later introduced him to St. Luke's Chapel at Kampala International University (KIU) western campus. He recommitted his life to Jesus Christ and was discipled by some student leaders involved in the LIFE Ministry Uganda spiritual movement.
His first direct interaction with LIFE Ministry Uganda was in December 2014 when he attended the Pamoja Uganda conference. Towards its end, participants were challenged to consider giving themselves to the service of the Lord. That was the first time he felt the Lord impress it on his heart to leave his job and join full time Christian work.
In April 2016, Mark resigned from his job and joined LIFE Ministry Uganda as a missionary staff. He did New Staff Training (NST) in 2017, he was appointed as the Student-Led Movements' (SLM) Team Leader in April 2018, where he served for three years. Mark and his wife Victoria got married on 28th September, 2019 and they are blessed with twins, Bethel and Israel. Mark currently serves as the Resource Development Team Leader.
