The Leader Impact (LI) group United Arab Emirates (UAE) started after the Medical domain Forum of Leader Impact professionals and LIFE Ministry Uganda. We are a small cell group of 10 people who are active in the ministry of learning more about how we can change our workplaces to become better leaders who are exceptionally God fearing and committed to transform society. LI UAE Chapter started the journey with watching the Jesus Film, the segment of Walking with Jesus. Currently, we have finished all the 5 episodes of Walking with Jesus. During this journey, we learnt and experienced a lot of changes in our Christian walk.
Testimonies, one after the other have been received, for example, a member called Jamirah stated to me through a WhatsApp audio that she really gives thanks to God for friends like me and other LI group members. She said that we have helped her to welcome Christ back in her life because she had gotten lost, forgotten God and was living a prayer less life. Through LI groups and the home cell fellowship that we formed, she reported that now she can pray and share Christ with her friends and family. Through learning how to pray as observed by ‘DAUDA’ in the Walking with Jesus clips, she prayed to God in such a simple and humble way and God has answered her with a job – we give God all the Glory. Many of our group members have witnessed transformation and God has continued to answer many of their prayers.
What started as a simple LI group, it has birthed into Wednesday and Sunday evening gatherings/fellowships. We thank God that amidst the challenges of being in a Muslim country, we can still spread the good news of Jesus Christ through Leader Impact groups.
