SOUTH CENTRAL REGION- A REGION ‘THAT FLOWS WITH MILK AND HONEY’

Welcome to the South-Central Region, a scope LIFE Ministry Uganda reaches with the gospel. This region literally drips with opportunities, and as a ministry, we have maximized them. Positioned in the heart of Uganda, the South-Central Region serves as a vital hub for trade and transportation. This central location is ideal for reaching out across Uganda, placing us at the crossroads of endless possibilities.

With Kampala, Uganda’s capital, within this region, we have found ourselves reaching with the gospel and impacting the business fraternity, executives, and professionals in various fields. Through partnerships with churches, institutions, communities, and like-hearted organizations, they have greatly enhanced our ministry’s impact. Additionally, the presence of top universities and prestigious high schools has provided us with unique opportunities to partner with these institutions for leadership training, mentorship programs, and felt-needs outreaches.

The region boasts well-developed infrastructure, including excellent roads and telecommunications, particularly around Kampala and Wakiso. This has ensured smooth operations and effective outreach efforts. The region is primarily composed of districts that constitute Buganda Kingdom. We look forward to working with the cultural leaders strategically to build unity and deeper community engagement.

The region hosts key governmental bodies. Over the years, we have engaged with the executive, such as the Office of the President and the First Lady, the Judiciary through lawyers, and the Legislature by reaching Members of Parliament. We have collaborated with the Government of Uganda on youth empowerment in education, and health-related strategies aligned with government priorities that can lead to meaningful change. Furthermore, with a large, youthful, and educated population, the region is dynamic and vibrant.

Lastly, the region is home to major evangelical bodies, including churches and organizations. Many of the leaders within them have been impacted by LIFE Ministry Uganda through training, collaboration in outreaches, and discipleship programs.

We are glad that as an organization, we have joined God where He has been at work in this region for the last 53 years since our inception in 1971.
