The Midwest Region is a vibrant area of ministry, where we are committed to advancing the Great Commission through various evangelistic, discipleship, and leadership strategies. Our work spans multiple districts, including , Fortportal, Masindi, Kiryandongo, Buliisa, and Kiboga. These districts form the backbone of our outreach efforts, offering a rich mission field with diverse communities.
The Jesus Film Project remains a cornerstone of our evangelistic strategy in the Midwest region. We have trained several teams to use the Jesus Film as a tool for spreading the gospel and conducting discipleship in local churches and schools. These teams work tirelessly, using the film to reach people in both urban centers and remote rural areas, presenting the message of Christ in a way that resonates with diverse audiences.
We recently completed the translation of Walking with Jesus into Runyoro/Rutoro, the local languages spoken widely in this region. This milestone allows us to communicate the gospel more effectively to native speakers, helping them understand and live out the teachings of Jesus in their own language and cultural context.
We have been actively equipping leaders across the Midwest region through the New Life Training Curriculum (NLTC). This training empowers participants with the tools and knowledge needed for personal spiritual growth and leadership in their communities. Leaders trained through this curriculum are now involved in evangelism, church planting, and discipleship, contributing significantly to the multiplication of churches in the area.
Mission activities in the Midwest region have seen great success. Several short-term and long-term missions have been conducted, leading to the planting of new churches and the strengthening of existing ones. Our teams work alongside local pastors and community leaders to ensure that the gospel takes deep root in every village and town we reach.
