I love seeing students come to Jesus Christ and witnessing transformation in their lives as I walk the journey of discipleship with them.

I am Abaho Habakkuk, born in Kabale and the youngest of four children. I am a born-again Christian and a staff member with LIFE Ministry. I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness at Makerere University. I am passionate about evangelism, discipleship, and guiding youth to discover their purpose.

I was raised in a Christian home where attending church every Sunday was the norm. In my childhood, despite being born into a family with a rich Christian background, I was disobedient, often stealing money at home, and easily succumbing to anger when wronged. Upon entering secondary school, influenced by peers, I developed a habit of watching pornography.

My turning point came in 2017 during a youth conference organized at my local church. A speaker challenged us to contemplate where we would spend eternity if Christ returned that day. It was then that I realized my need to accept Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, desiring to dwell in heaven after death. Following my acceptance of Jesus Christ, my life began to change gradually. I no longer exhibited disobedience, anger, or indulged in pornography. My desire to serve God grew, and I found fulfillment in serving Him. Currently, I am a missionary staff with LIFE Ministry Uganda.

I joined LIFE Ministry Uganda fueled by my passion to reach students on campus, recognizing the great need for Christ among them. Throughout my years at university, I observed students grappling with issues such as sexual immorality and drug addiction. I became acquainted with the organization during my first year at campus through their training sessions, where I was among the trainees. Following that training, LIFE Ministry Uganda staff members mentored and discipled me until I could confidently share my faith with others.

After my final semester at university, I volunteered with the organization for a year. During this time, after seeking God’s guidance regarding my purpose on earth, I felt a confirmation from Him that He was calling me into full-time ministry. I then applied to become a full-time staff, underwent interviews and was accepted.
