What I love about the role I play in ministry?

What I enjoy most is just the opportunity to share Christ with people and help them grow in their faith and walk with God.

About me

The firstborn of seven siblings, and often thrust into pioneering situations, I am, however, most comfortable as a team player rather than the captain. I believe that the best gift I have to offer anyone is to introduce them to Jesus Christ; He transformed my life and will do the same for them. This is my passion, which continually pushes me into conversation with whoever I meet. I've had the privilege of living my passion in different countries and cultures. In spite of the challenges of life, there is always hope when one encounters Jesus Christ and commits to following Him.

My Story

Although "raised in the church," I didn't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ until I was in my mid-twenties, through the ministry of a visiting Kenyan evangelist at the beginning of my final year at Makerere university. I thought I was a good Christian. However, there was a nagging emptiness in my life that I didn't know how to handle. On top of that, I wondered if there was a purpose to my life. I frequently attended Scripture Union meetings on campus, and during one such meeting, I was challenged to receive Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. When I prayed to invite the Lord Jesus into my life, I immediately sensed that God had a reason for my being alive. I longed to share my newly found joy with others. Four months later, a CCC (Cru) staff couple challenged me to join the team as LIFE Ministry was being launched in Uganda. They invited me to a Basic Training during which my hesitations were swept away as God gave me the conviction that this was, indeed, what He wanted me to do.
