My Story

Growing up in a nominal Christian home, I could go to church once in a while.I was stubborn child, good at insulting my peers, fighting them and had no regard for born again Christians.

In 2005, April, after many attempts by my elder sister for me to receive Christ i finally received Him as my personal Lord and savior. That evening as we were resting on bed she asked me why i wasnt accepting Christ and i didnt have any more excuses. She asked if I was ready to pray to receive Christ in my life and I said yes. I prayed to receive christ as a repeated after her.

I never grew up there and then spiritually. Later on, as went to the University I joined a fellowship group which helped me to grow. I learnt how to pray, read the word, fellowship and even share my faith with others. Still growing in my salvation journey.

I joined LIFE Ministry Uganda through the church in Makerere, where they had organized a discipleship class in partnership with LIFE Ministry Uganda where i participated. Through that class I came to know more about LIFE Ministry Uganda (LMU) and its ministry of Evangelism and discipleship. I started volunteering at Makerere University as i received training. As I prayed I sensed that the Lord wanted me to serve Him on a clearly defined platform, the scripture in Mathew 9:36-38 i clearly understood that Lord was leading me to join LMU.

I applied to join full time mission work and I was accepted. Since then I decided to serve God at the prime of my life and not to give him leftovers.
