Global Church Movement (GCM)
Married
I love the fact that everyone (children, youth/ students, professionals, executives, politicians, pastors and clergy) is in church and that’s where I am strategically placed too. There are no boundaries to the ministry the Lord has called me to do.
I am a wife, mother and called to serve the Lord with my unique giftings. I love hospitality, gardening, reading the word, encouraging people, praying for them and sharing the word of God with others especially children, young people and women.
I was raised in a godly home, both parents were educationists. They knew the Lord and served him and they took us to church every Sunday. I got involved in serving the Lord at an early age putting hymn books and prayer books in the pews. I used to lead service, Bible study and fellowships. When I joined boarding school in senior one, I was active in the chapel as a result I was chosen to represent my class at a Scripture Union conference in a neighbouring school. While at this conference, the gospel was preached and for the very first time I felt they were speaking to me. The preacher then asked anyone who has never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and savior to raise up their hand and then stand up and walk to the front. I did that after a little hesitation and I was led in a prayer of confession and I invited Jesus Christ into my life as Lord and savior. I am very thankful to Lord for this decision and I have never regretted it.
After completing high school, I trained as a teacher of English language and literature. I taught briefly and joined the NGO world. Later on, I worked at a coca cola depot and moved on to manage a Guest House. I took leave and visited my elder sister in Kampala in 2003. While attending church service in one of the City churches, a visiting preacher from Kenya who had just come from a mission trip to the IDP camps in Northern Uganda challenged the congregation who lived in comfort yet people where perishing daily without Christ. He asked that if anyone knows that he was speaking to them personally, they should stand up and he prays for them. I was already convicted so I stood up together with a few other people and he prayed for us. The Lord orchestrated events and I was invited to do NLTC in Gulu and joined the ministry team there. A few years later, I met my husband and we got married in 2005. We applied to join staff and went through the Great Commission Training (GCT) in 2007/2008 cycle, the rest is history
