What I love about the role I play in ministry?

I love seeing couples working and growing together in their marriage, especially those that had had some challenges in their respective marriages. I love to hear godly testimonies among those who read daily devotions we write for the body of Christ. I love seeing new believers grow spiritually as we study the Word of God together.

About me

Apollo Mwehamiza Karemire, I got saved in 1976 and married in 1997, God has blessed us with two children; Eriya and Rakeeli. I love teaching sound biblical theology, I come from Ntungamo district, South western Uganda. .

My Story

I grew up in a family where my both parents were saved. I used to go church every Sunday and joined family prayers every day. However, this never gave me salvation for I still did evil in the absence of my parents and siblings.

One night around 9pm in 1976, I got saved. This gave me meaning of prayers and going to church every Sunday. My frustration of living a double standard was healed. Even my family members, including my parents, saw a positive change in my life.

My mother did the follow up on me as we read the Bible together. She even took me to the fellowship of believers every Friday at church. This helped me to grow

Joining LIFE Ministry Uganda (LMU): I did evangelism and discipleship in early 1990s up to T.O.T. In 1998 I joined LIFE Ministry Uganda on Jesus Film, working with Kampala Million Target Area (MPTA) during the campaign of operation Caleb. In 1999 I joined LMU full time staff up to date.
