Married
Training, witnessing and leading Bible study
I am Grace Kyotabona. I am married to Francis Kyotabona. God has blessed us with two children, a boy and a girl. Currently they are youthful. I received Christ and born again. God called me to serve as a missionary with LIFE Ministry Uganda while I was a teacher. I love training and leading Bible study. I also enjoy ministry to women. I have tendency to work fast in everything I do. I also enjoy working on a team. I enjoy counselling. .
My name is Grace Kyotabona. I was born in a polygamous family. There was lot of hypocrisy, hatred and anger, witchcraft, jealousy, strife and undue mistreatment. In my young age I lost my mom and life became more unbearable. My school carrier failed school for lack of tuition. I developed strong attitude of bitterness and hatred and lived a frustrated life. At some point this coupled with a terrible illness of my younger brother that threatened his life. At that time I made a vow telling God, “if you heal my brother I will give my life to you”.
As God would have it, a team of believers came home sharing Christ and prayed for my brother and he indeed got healed after a long time of being bed ridden. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I didn’t receive Christ that day but during the night, it was impressed hard on my heart, to fulfill what I had promised. As it says in Ecclesiastes 5:4, “When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it…” The next day 2nd of August 1990, I prayed to receive Christ.
Church began to make sense to me and I made meaningful friends. I saw God begin to pave way for me in various ways. But I had to deal with the bitterness and hatred I had against my relatives. God helped me even, to get back to school and ultimately through college. Later A ministry friend, who was later to be my husband, shared with me a fulltime ministry vision with LIFE Ministry Uganda. Five years down the road after our married, we both joined LIFE Ministry in 1987.
