What I love about the role I play in ministry?

I love doing evangelism among students and seeing them grow in their relationship with God.

I also love seeing students excel in their academics, and building healthy social networks and grow in their leadership skills.

I believe that the impact God is using me to make in the lives of students will not only stop at campus but it will even influence their lives and world around them after campus.

About me

I was born in a family of 9 and I am the 8th. I come from Kwania district. I love listening to music, shopping, cooking and serving people. I love farming and building.

My Story

I was born and raised up by a Christian mother and going to church was compulsory. Even when I joined high school in 2011 I was so committed to the church at my school and my first time of accepting Christ was in 2012 when I was being confirmed but because of lack of discipleship, I still continued with some bad behavior and the outstanding one was escaping from school to go to nightclubs.

It was in 2017 when I joined University and there was this day when they preached about leaving A Godly Legacy and I realized that I was living a double standard life, one leg in Christ and the other in the world. On that day I recommitted my life to Christ because my desire was to please him alone and I was taken through deep discipleship by a staff of LIFE Ministry Uganda.

During my undergraduate I was not performing well and this brought a lot of questions in my mind, fear in my heart and it affected my esteem negatively. This drew me closer to God through prayer and fellowship since I needed divine intervention. My desperate situation then called for a desperate prayer to the extent that I made a vow with God that, “if He helps and I graduate in time, I will serve Him.”

God came through for me and I graduated on 18th May 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Agribusiness management. After that I started looking for jobs and God reminded me of the vow I made to HIM.

I then started serving under my local church St. Francis Chapel Makerere University. It was during that time that a staff of LMU presented to me an opportunity to volunteer with LMU. I applied and I went through the interview, considering to give it one year and it was during that very season on 21st May 2022 that God confirmed my calling into Full time missionary work.
